I love old time rock and roll, Jazz and Blues.
Eric lindell, Mellisa Ethridge, John Hiatt, Ella Fitzgerald, Otis Redding,James Mcmurtrey to name a few.
I really love live music in small venues.
Interesting facts about me
I am a union carpenter...work in a cabinet shop and right now am laid off.
My friend owns a sprout farm and I am working part time there experimenting w/ growing micro greens.
I am an avid reader...sometimes a book a day!
HEATHER...DON'T YOU DARE HAVE A CIGARETTE OR THIS Proud MoM will come kick your booty!!!! Glad to hear you've been hitting the gym...i did the same
thing when I quit!! WAY TO GO...YOU CAN DO IT!!!
About visiting your son before his PDS assignment...I suggest waiting until he's settled at his PDS then you can stay longer and have more visits!! My
Marine said that ITB was even more challenging than boot camp even though they have alil more freedom. It's all a crash course on infantry and survival
knowlege out in the fiields...they are soooo busy and exhausted! I think, really depends on their instructors of course...they can have a few things so get a
small care pkg going w/ mini travel sizes of things like: chap stick, lotion, deodorant, fungus foot powder, bandaids, candy, power
bars...etc. SPACE IS LIMITIED...everywhere they are even at their PDS!!
have a good day!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!Just got back from the gym and hoping working out will help...your encouragement has certainly helped.
I treasure anything you have to share w/ me about this new life. I know you are right and will follow your advise about when to visit him. I have started my
letters and will start a care pkg and then just wait. This yuku site has helped me tremendously...you have helped me today more than you can know!
Love Heather
Hi Heather! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes for Trey. When I talk to him today I will be sure to pass on the wishes from his Marine forum Moms!
It's tough not being with him today but I am so thankful for all the support on here. Thanks again for the positive energy! :) Holli Original comment »
